Do you supply baby capsules, car seats and boosters?
Yes. Every booking comes with the right child restraint pre-fitted: baby capsules for 0–12 months, child car seats for 1–4 years and boosters for 4–7 years. All seats meet Australian safety standards and are cleaned and fitted before pick-up.
Do I need to bring my own car seat?
No. Tell us your children’s ages when you book and we’ll arrive with the correct capsule, car seat or booster already installed. It’s ideal for families flying into Sydney without their own seats.
How many child seats can you fit in one vehicle?
We can fit up to 3 child seats in one vehicle. For larger families or extra luggage, choose a MaxiVan when you book.
Do you do Sydney Airport transfers with child seats?
Yes. We do transfers to and from both Sydney Domestic and International Airport, with child seats fitted and drivers who help with prams and luggage.
How long does it take to get from Sydney Airport to the CBD?
Sydney Airport is about 8–10 km from the CBD. The trip usually takes 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic.
What vehicles do you have?
You can book a sedan, SUV or MaxiVan. Luggage trailers are available on request for families with lots of bags.
How much does a taxi with a child seat cost?
Fares depend on distance, time, vehicle type and the number of child seats. Use our online quote form or call us for a price on your trip.
How far in advance should I book?
All rides must be booked in advance. Book as early as you can, especially in school holidays and on weekends when demand is high, so we can have the right child seats fitted.
What areas do you service?
We operate across the Sydney region only, including Sydney Airport, Mascot, Rosebery, Bondi, Waverley, Randwick, Double Bay, Darlinghurst, Pyrmont, Balmain and North Sydney.
Can my child ride in an Uber without a car seat in NSW?
No. Under NSW road rules, rideshare vehicles are treated like private cars, so children under 7 must be in an approved child restraint. Taxis have an exemption when no restraint is available, but Sydney Baby Taxi never carries a child without a properly fitted capsule, car seat or booster.

Yes. Select ‘return trip’ on the booking form and add your return pick-up details.
